About Amy

I am a qualified psychotherapist practising in Dublin City Centre. I hold an Honours Degree in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy from The Institute of Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy (IICP). I am also a fully accredited member of The Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP)

I care deeply about the well-being of others and have always been passionate about helping people. I strongly believe in the resilience of the human spirit and people's capabilities to create a sense of autonomy and empowerment in order to contend with whatever life challenges they encounter.

I work from an integrative perspective which means I don't believe in a "one size fits all'' method, rather I use several different therapeutic modalities, including Humansitic, Choice Theory, Existential, psychodynamic and CBT. This allows me to work collaboratively with clients to identify their strengths and preferences in order to find a therapeutic style that suits the individual.
