Counselling is a confidential, non-judgmental space where a client speaks one on one to a counsellor about an issue or difficulty they are experiencing. Counsellors are professionally qualified individuals, who are trained in listening and reflective skills that enable clients to explore and make sense of issues that are affecting their lives.
How long does a session last?
Each session is 55 minutes long.
Where will the sessions be?
Appointments will take either online, or in my office at 5 Capel Street, Dublin 1.
What is the cost of a session?
The cost of an online session is 80 euro. An in-person session is 85 euro. A couples session is 130 euro. If you are a student or finances are an issue, I also reserve a number of spaces for reduced rate clients.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions will depend on your individual needs. During the initial session we can collaboratively consider the nature of the issues being brought and decide together on the most appropriate number of sessions.
How often will I need to attend?
Typically individuals attend therapy once a week, although fortnightly is also an option. Again this is something that can be discussed in the initial session.
Are the sessions confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is maintained within the ethical guidelines of The Irish Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy.
